Counterbalance Mechanisms:

Vertical shutters usually require counterbalance mechanisms to support the weight of the shutter in its open position. Waivis have a range of different solutions tailored to your particular cabinet design.

Waivis Cassette:

The most versatile and frequently specified solution is the Waivis cassette mechanism. Suitable for use with all Waivis’ range of plastic, aluminium and metallic-line shutters. This easy to install, pre-tensioned unit, can be tailored made to the exact width and height of your cabinet without any on site adjustment – reducing your installation time and labour cost.

Sprung Core:

This traditional method of counterbalance mechamism is particularly useful for very large or heavy shutters. Waivis will tailor make the sprung core specific to your project to ensure no additional on site adaptation is required.

Nonetheless it is still particularly useful for very large or heavy shutters e.g. aluminium and the Waivis version of the sprung core will be tailor made to your project to ensure only minimal on site adaptation is required.
